Assistant Professor Strategic Management/International Management
Lehigh University seeks to fill one tenure track position in strategic management at the assistant
professor level beginning Fall 2011. Candidates must have a research-focused doctorate in
strategic or international management with a research and teaching focus on international
business management. We are seeking candidates who have the ability to conduct scholarly
research aimed at publication in top journals and who are capable of outstanding classroom
performance at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Team teaching, distance education,
and use of business simulations are expected. Preference will be given to candidates with
professional management experience.

graduate and undergraduate education to 6,800 students. Lehigh is located in eastern

?top 100 places to live to launch small business? in 2008), 50 miles north of Philadelphia and 75

The College of Business and Economics is home to approximately 1300 undergraduates, 400
graduate students, and 65 tenured/tenure-track faculty members. In addition to undergraduate,
MBA, and various other graduate programs, joint programs exist between business and
engineering including the joint Center for Value Chain Research and the new Institute for
Entrepreneurship, Creativity, and Innovation. The Management Department includes faculty in
supply chain, information systems, strategic management, and organizational behavior.
