9th Annual OB Research Incubator at AOM Annual Conference
Saturday, August 5, 2017, 8:00 AM –10:00 AM
We invite you to submit a research proposal for the 9th Annual "OB Research Incubator", a Preconference Development Workshop that provides an exciting opportunity for researchers to receive constructive feedback and guidance from some of most productive OB scholars. This session is open to both junior and senior scholars who are conducting research on OB-related topics.
During the session, participants will meet in a small group setting with leading OB scholars, who will provide direct and specific feedback on your research project. Feedback will be particularly focused on helping you address the challenges you are currently facing in bringing a project to fruition.
Pre-approval of a research proposal is required for registration. Proposals are due June 15. We strongly encourage participants to signal their intention to submit a proposal by sending an email to Bart de Jong at Bart.deJong@acu.edu.au, so we can reserve a spot for you.
Please limit submissions to 5 – 6 double spaced pages (not including references) and include the following four sections:
Brief Abstract and four keywords
Overview of the research
Research topic
Conceptual framework
Research questions
Methods
Challenges (these are the areas on which you would like to focus for discussion). Please list specific questions you'd like a panelist to answer.

Please send research proposals to Bart de Jong (Bart.deJong@acu.edu.au) using the subject line "OB Research Incubator" by Thursday, June 15, 2017. Once your proposal is approved, we will send the registration code. At that point, interested participants need to register online at the AOM PDW website https://secure.aomonline.org/PDWReg. To maintain an intimate setting, we will accept only a limited number of submissions based on the quality of the proposal, fit with the expertise of our panel, and timeliness (early submissions will be given preference).
The workshop will take place on Saturday, August 5, 2017, 8:00 AM –10:00 AM.
