Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) as a Workplace Issue: Advancing a Renewed Research Agenda
If you have interest in this important topic, please join us on Monday, August 11, 11:30 – 1:00 PM at the Vancouver Convention Center. This caucus will provide a forum for OB, HR, Social Issues, GDO, CMD, and other AOM members to discuss ideas, form collaborations, strengthen existing research directions and explore new research contexts informed by current events. Sexual assault and domestic violence have received considerable public attention, warranting renewed attention to previously explored issues and suggesting new areas for research with the potential to significantly influence management practice and social change. We will focus on IPV and corporate social responsibility, employers' awareness of legal rights of IPV victims, bystander intervention training, barriers to IPV research.....but are open to any research issues and interests related to the topic that may come from the participating audience. This research area is timely, undoubtedly of high-impact on society, and there is much potential for meaningful contribution. Please email Carol Danehower vdanehwr@memphis.edu or Kelly Mollica kmollica@memphis.edu if you have any questions. See you in Vancouver!
