Greetings to the Conflict Management Division from the Critical management Studies Division:
As the newest division, we here at the CMS want to make CMS aware of our program at the AOM, and not just because of the endless confusion of sharing so many initials! We have organized a number of sessions that we believe will interest your division as well. These include:
Power and Management Practice paper session, Monday at 11;30AM
The Political Economy of Management, Monday at 8AM
Gender and Management Practice paper session at 9:45 on Tuesday
Management and Labour Relations paper session at 11:30AM Tues. (the spelling reflects our international flavor)
Plus a joint symposium with HRD on the Employee Free Choice Act, also at 11:30AM Tues
In any event, we are a friendly bunch, open to all sorts of perspectives and scholarship, and I hope to see some of you in Chicago.
