Dear colleague:
The article listening first aid is now available as a one hour audio
seminar. The MP3 files can easily burned into a CD. To do so, when burning,
choose the option music rather than data. Please feel free to make
copies of the CD and give these out to students, clients, or friends.
Most people realize that they do not do a good job of listening, but most
also feel that they can be a good listener if they really want to. I hope
this seminar will challenge some assumptions and be a useful tool. I believe
that it will help us improve our interpersonal relations at work, at home,
and in the community. Also, it will be of special interest to mediators who
use the Party-Directed Mediation approach.
In the same place where the audio can be downloaded, you have options to
also view the chapter-length paper on-line or download a book on mediation
skills, in PDF format.

I also have a 2 CD seminar on conflict management skills (Spanish), or
rather, interpersonal negotiation skills, that is also available at no cost.
Please let me know if you are interested in that link, also.
Please do not respond to this email address, but rather, please write to me
to my University of California address below.
Best,
Gregorio
