    Lehigh University
    Tenure Track Position in Organizational Behavior


    Lehigh University’s Department of Management seeks to fill one tenure
    track position in organizational behavior beginning fall 2008. Preference
    will be given to faculty desiring consideration at the rank of either
    associate or full professor with a high profile research record.
    Experienced assistant professors will only be considered with an
    outstanding research record. Active scholarship in leadership and
    interpersonal processes with a strong focus on research methods is
    desirable. An excellent teaching record is required with a broad interest
    in OB and HR preferable. Team teaching, distance education, and web-based
    instruction are likely. Industry/professional experience is highly
    desirable. Earned doctorate in organizational behavior or human resources
    from a recognized school of business is required.

    This position is part of a major hiring initiative within the College of
    Business and Economics that is unprecedented in scope at Lehigh University
    (www.lehigh.edu). The faculty recruitment plan includes the addition of 12
    new faculty positions this year across all departments and at various
    levels of seniority. New university leadership that includes President
    Alice Gast, formerly from MIT, incoming Dean Paul Brown from NYU/Stern and

    Lehigh University's Department of Management seeks to fill one tenure track position in organizational behavior at the assistant professor level beginning fall 2011.  Candidates must have a research-focused doctorate in organizational behavior with a research/teaching focus on leadership from a recognized school of business.  We are seeking candidates who have the ability to conduct scholarly research aimed at publication in top journals and who are capable of outstanding classroom performance at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
