The Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University is accepting applications for a tenure-track faculty position in OT/OB beginning fall 2008. Our preference is someone with macro research and teaching interests, but ideally a candidate should be able to teach both macro subjects such as organizational design and organizational change as well as courses in organizational behavior and/or leadership. Rank is open, but we have a preference for faculty with some experience post-Ph.D.
The Owen School, with approximately 45 full-time faculty plus a number of adjunct and clinical professors, has programs leading to the MBA degree (daytime and executive programs) as well as master's degree programs in accounting and in finance. There is also a Ph.D. program with specializations in organization studies, finance, and marketing. The Owen School is home to several research centers, including the Financial Markets Research Center, eLab, the Owen Entrepreneurship Center and the Vanderbilt Center for Environmental Management Studies. The organization studies group is an eclectic group of faculty doing research and teaching in a variety of areas within the fields of organizational behavior, organizational theory, business ethics, and human resource management.
