NINTH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON EMOTIONS AND
    ORGANIZATIONAL LIFE 'EMONET IX'
    DOCTORAL CONSORTIUM July 30, 2014

    CALL FOR PROPOSALS

Are you working on a Ph.D. thesis in the area of emotions in organizational life? Would you like to discuss your work with more experienced scholars in the field? Now is the time to prepare for the 9th biannual 'EMONET IX' doctoral consortium preceding AOM 2014 in Philadelphia, PA, USA. The doctoral consortium will be held at Fox School of Business, Temple University on July 30, 2014, from 9am-12pm and followed by a free-of-charge lunch from 12pm to 1pm.

The doctoral consortium provides an excellent opportunity to discuss your research in an informal, collegial roundtable setting. Each roundtable will have 1-2 facilitators to give feedback on 2-4 early-stage thesis proposals, allowing plenty of time for discussion. This feedback will be instrumental in helping you further develop your research. Neal Ashkanasy has already agreed to be a roundtable discussant.

The format of the consortium has been inspired by the Cognition in the Rough workshop organized at the Academy of Management meetings by the MOC division.

Ninth Conference on Emotions and Organizational Life ('Emonet IX') will be held at Fox School of Business, Temple University, Philadelphia, PA, July 30-31, 2014. The conference is organized by the Emonet e-mail discussion group, an international network of scholars working in this field, established in January, 1997, and affiliated with the Academy of Management's listserv (see http://www.emotionsnet.org/). The primary aim of the conference is to bring together scholars who study emotions in organizational life, and to provide a forum for presentation of some of the significant advances that have been made in our understanding of this important area.
