With the new Academy schedule, we have a new time for our business meeting: Sunday from 5:00-6:00 (Sheraton Ballroom 5). Please plan to attend to learn more about what is going on in the Division and how you can play a part. Following the business meeting, join all your CM friends and meet new ones at the annual CM Sunday Night Social. This year we have reserved Vong's Thai Kitchen (6 West Hubbard Street) from 6:00-8:30. It's quite close to the Sheraton, so we look forward to seeing everyone there. Note that while in previous years CM has held two socials -- an offsite Sunday night social, and an onsite, post business meeting, Tuesday night social -- we have combined the two good socials into one fabulous social to accommodate the new Academy schedule.
If you're planning to attend the social, please contact Kathleen O'Connor (
kmo8@cornell.edu) by August 1st to let her know you'll be there so she can get an accurate headcount. You can send your payment to her in advance or pay by cash or check at the door (price for regular members for unlimited wine and beer: $34; for students and new members: $24; price for unlimited soda for regular members: $19; for students and new members: $9).
