  • 1.  Feedback on a New Resource for Educators

    Posted 11-26-2008 22:08

    Hello,

My name is Michelle. I am a new member of the Conflict Management Division and I wanted to reach out to this community to get some feedback and tell you about a new resource for educators.

I am part of an education social entrepreneurship project called Summer Workation. Our goal is to help teachers find high-profile summer opportunities that will allow them to return to the classroom as stronger teachers. You can learn more at www.summerworkation.org.

I would love get your feedback on the project. If you are interested in using the service (it is totally free now) send us an e-mail to help@summerworkation.org.

I also wanted to make a quick little plug. We are in the finals of a business competition and we could use your support. If you could take a minute to register and vote at http://www.ideablob.com/ideas/3729-Summer-Workation-exciting-summ that would be a huge help. This is a service that will ultimately help educators so hopefully you can take a second to vote.

Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you!

    Michelle

I have gotten some great feedback and some questions about voting.

I have broken it down into 5 easy steps below.

I hope you all can take a second to help!

    2) On the right, click the green "Thumbs Up Vote" button.
    3) Click the orange "Register Here" button and fill in your info (skip step 2)
    4) Go to your email to confirm your registration
    5) On the confirmation page, click Summer Workation link and click VOTE! (or go to the original link in step one and click VOTE!)
