    The Department of Management and International Business in the Raj Soin College of Business at Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio, seeks to hire an Assistant Professor of Management to begin in August 2016.  Salary and benefits for this tenure-track position are highly competitive.

     

    Responsibilities include scholarly activity resulting in refereed journal publications, teaching undergraduate and graduate classes in Management and International Business, and University service. The main area of emphasis will be in Human Resource Management or Organizational Behavior/Organizational Development. Expertise/training and ability to teach in other related areas within the department, such as leadership, ethics, organizational change, and international management, will be considered an asset. This position carries a five (3 hour) course teaching load (3 classes in Fall semester and 2 classes in Spring semester or vice versa).

     

    Minimum Qualifications

     

    Candidates will have an earned Ph.D. in management from an AACSB accredited institution received by hire date of August 1, 2016. Candidates must have the potential for excellence in teaching at the graduate and/or undergraduate levels.

     

    Preferred Qualifications

     

    The preferred candidate will have prior college-level teaching experience with strong teaching evaluations – particularly in HR-related or OB/OD-related courses and must have strong oral communication skills, a record of HR or OB/OD related research and scholarly publication in refereed academic journals, the potential for high quality department, university and/or community service, and a commitment to collegial academic interaction with a focus on student learning.
