    Abstract:
This PDW will leverage the historic sights of Philadelphia to engage participants in a process of unpacking essential design principles and communication processes that give life to mindful, inclusive leadership that is integral and transformative. We will use select historic sites in the city of Philadelphia such as the Constitution Center, the Liberty Museum and the Franklin Institute as kinesthetic opportunities to reflect on how those who established the U.S. Government intended to support the promise of “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.” How were new ways of interacting embodied in physical spaces, rules and structures? What new insights can we discover from exploring the embodied intentions of past leaders to guide us in better engaging the current complexities of our global environment.
