    Panel Symposium on Islamic Leadership: Linking Theory and Research with Practice (Session# 1742 )


    at the Academy of Management Meeting in Vancouver!


    Scheduled:  Tuesday Aug 11 2015 from 9:45 AM -11:15 AM

    Location:      Pinnacle Vancouver Harbourfront Hotel, Port of Macau

    Panel:          Eleftheria EGEL, Jody FRY, Zahir LATHEEF, Rafik BEEKUN, Jawad SHAH


    This panel symposium aims at shedding light on Leadership from an Islamic perspective (LIP). Specifically, we are going to  engage  in a formal, moderated, interactive discussion of (1) Principles of Islamic leadership  (2) Research on Islamic leadership  (3) Practice of Islamic leadership. Our  aim is to (1) create a better understanding of what the "other" is and is not; and (2) maximize LIP's positive effect in management practice.
