    Dear all,

We still have some space for participants in the OB Research Incubator at this year's Academy conference. This is a good opportunity to get personal help on a project that you may be struggling with or wondering how you can best bring it to fruition (and get it published!). See the details below.

8th Annual OB Research Incubator at AOM Annual Conference

    Saturday, August 6, 2016, 8:00 – 10:00 AM

    Anaheim Convention Center, Room 201B

We invite you to submit a research proposal for the 8th Annual "OB Research Incubator", a Preconference Development Workshop that provides an exciting opportunity for researchers to receive constructive feedback and guidance from some of OB's most productive scholars. This session is open to both junior and senior scholars who are conducting research on OB-related topics.

During the session, participants will meet in a small group setting with leading OB scholars, who will provide direct and specific feedback on your research project. Feedback will be particularly focused on helping you address the challenges you are currently facing in bringing a project to fruition.

Pre-approval of a research proposal is required for registration. Proposals are due July 1.

Please limit submissions to 5 – 6 double spaced pages (not including references) and include the following four sections:

    1. Brief Abstract and four keywords
    2. Overview of the research
      1. Research topic
      2. Conceptual framework
      3. Research questions
      4. Methods
    1. Challenges (these are the areas on which you would like to focus discussion). Please list specific questions you'd like a panelist to answer.
    2. References

Please send research proposals to Michael Johnson (mdj3@uw.edu) using the subject line "OB Research Incubator" by Friday, July 1, 2016. Once your proposal is approved, we will send the registration code. At that point, interested participants need to register online at the AOM PDW website https://secure.aomonline.org/PDWReg. To maintain an intimate setting, we will accept only a limited number of submissions based on the quality of the proposal, fit with the expertise of our panel, and timeliness (early submissions will be given preference).

The workshop will take place on Saturday, August 6, 2016, 8:00 - 10:00 AM, at the Anaheim Convention Center in Room 201B.

We have an outstanding slate of productive scholars who will facilitate the session, including:

    • Bruce Avolio, U. of Washington
    • Mark Bolino, U. of Oklahoma
    • Xiao-Ping Chen, U. of Washington
