    2015 Call for Nominations:
Editor for Negotiation and Conflict Management Research, the official journal of the International Association for Conflict Management

The International Association for Conflict Management (IACM) is soliciting nominations for the editor of Negotiation and Conflict Management Research (NCMR). Self-nominations are welcome. The appointment is for three years and begins in September 2015. The incoming editor will oversee Volumes 9 through 11 (a total of 12 issues).

NCMR publishes research that develops theory and reports research on negotiation and conflict management across levels, including interpersonal conflict, inter-group conflict, organizational conflict, and cross-cultural conflict, across a range of domains including environmental conflict, crisis negotiations, and political conflict, as well as across a variety of approaches, including formal and informal third party intervention, mediation, and arbitration. The journal welcomes manuscripts that develop theory as well as manuscripts that report original research. A variety of methods and approaches are welcome. NCMR publishes a wide range of manuscripts, including manuscripts that initiate, extend, validate or redirect a line of inquiry, provide a theoretically-driven review, integrate research about a particular area of study or on perspectives from multiple disciplines, provide new empirical findings, make theoretical contributions, and employ diverse methods. NCMR, which is published by Wiley, follows the format of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA, 6th edition). The editor of NCMR should reflect and seek to enhance the diversity of IACM in terms of their interest areas, gender, ethnicity, and national origin. Individuals who are interested in this position can learn more about the journal and editorial responsibilities by contacting Jessica or the current NCMR Editor, Deborah Cai at NCMR@temple.edu.

A completed nomination package includes a letter of application from the candidate with their vision for NCMR in the upcoming years; the candidate's vitae; 2-3 letters of support from published scholars familiar with the candidate's work, experience, and suitability for the task of journal editing; and a letter of institutional support from the candidate's home institution.

Please send your nomination package to Jessica Katz Jameson. Review of packets will begin on January 26. The committee–Deborah Cai, Jessica Katz Jameson (chair), Shirli Kopelman, Roy Lewicki, Anne Lytle, and Linda Putnam–will accept nominations until March 1, 2015.

To submit a nomination or for additional information, please contact Jessica Katz Jameson at jameson@ncsu.edu.
