    Good Afternoon,

Please accept my apologies for cross-messaging, I hope that this information will be of interest to you.

I am just getting in touch to let you know about a journal that Greenleaf have recently launched - Business, Peace and Sustainable Development (BPSD), which can be found at: www.greenleaf-publishing.com/bpsd. The journal aims to understand the role of the business sector in enhancing peace and reducing violence, and contributing to sustainable development. It is also aimed at understanding the importance of peace to the economy and markets. While some research has been published on business and peace and peace through commerce, BPSD is the first journal dedicated to mutual contribution of business and peace.

Corporate Peace is an idea whose time has come. Companies, through their power, knowledge, financial and other resources can have a tremendous impact on the peacefulness of our world. Through the resources they control and people they employ, corporations possess real economic and political power and have the ability to significantly impact the natural environment as well as the political one. Businesses can create the conditions needed for peace and can contribute to the reduction of violence locally, nationally, and globally. This can be done through a firm's strategy, competitive advantage and value chain.
The role of this journal is to promote the discussion on business and peace, and publish work on the mutual relationship of business and peace: empirical studies, theories, cases and tools.

BSPD welcomes case studies, viewpoints and working papers as well as traditional peer-reviewed academic research papers. Each issue will include a 'Peace Dialogues' section that will provide a space for responses to previous papers, sharing work in progress and more. The first issue is due to be published this Autumn and we are currently accepting submissions. I have detailed the submission guidelines below, as we would welcome any contributions that you may like to submit.

BPSD will publish papers on, but not limited to, the following topics:
    1. Cases of corporate peace, peace through commerce, and businesses contributing to peace and development
    2. Theoretical articles and models on business, peace and development
    3. Economic metrics on the mutual contribution of business, economy and peace
    4. Social impact of corporate peace
    5. Tools and mechanisms of corporate peace and sustainable development
    6. Tri-sectorial collaborations (governments, businesses and NGOs) to achieve peace
    7. Stakeholders' perceptions and attitudes on these subjects (e.g. motivations, barriers, attitudes)
    8. Measurements and comparisons of corporate peace in various firms, countries etc.

    Submit your paper
For more information on how to submit please see the author guidelines at www.greenleaf-publishing.com/bpsd or contact the Editor, Debbie Haski-Leventhal on debbie.haski-leventhal@mgsm.edu.au. All papers apart from those submitted to 'Peace Dialogues' will be double-blind peer reviewed.

Please feel free to get in touch if you would like any further details. We appreciate your support in the development of this important journal.

    Best wishes,
