9 Good Reasons to Get to Know IJCMA!

    Dear Dr Posthuma,

Conflict Management is arguably a field in which the value of research goes beyond the typical scholarly realms of Impact Factors and citation metrics -  a field where fresh thinking and strong ideas have the potential to make a real difference to the world and its problems.

By covering a varied spectrum of topics, from personal and psychological conflict, to peace studies and organizational conflict, the International Journal of Conflict Management (IJCMA) examines how to negotiate, mediate and resolve disputes in real world situations.

While 'real world' impact remains difficult to measure, the editorial and publishing team of IJCMA are nevertheless pleased to announce that the journal's traditional JCR impact factor has risen to 0.744, with a new five year impact factor of 1.029.

To celebrate, we've made a collection of the journal's most downloaded and cited recent content completely free for you to access through mid-August:

Conflicts in innovation and how to approach the "last mile" of conflict management research - a literature review
    Albert Vollmer

"Mission impossible": exploring the viability of power-sharing as a conflict-resolution tool in Syria
    Emer Groarke

    Frieder Lempp
