Position Announcement - NYU Stern Post-Doctoral Fellow The Department of Management and Organizations at the Stern School of Business, New York University, is looking to hire a post-doctoral fellow for academic years 2014-2015 and 2015-2016. Responsibilities include managing our behavioral lab and teaching three 3-credit courses during their tenure. Candidates should have their dissertation defended by August 2014 and must demonstrate strong potential in both research and teaching.
The post-doctoral fellow position provides an excellent opportunity for an emerging scholar to develop and extend their research program while gaining valuable teaching experience. Post-docs are highly encouraged to collaborate with departmental faculty and graduate students, to benefit from several speaker series, and to draw from the wide variety of intellectual resources available at NYU Stern. The position may be particularly beneficial for individuals whose have done graduate work in a psychology department but are considering transitioning to a business school. However, all applicants who demonstrate strong promise are encouraged to apply, regardless of intellectual background.
The Management and Organizations Department at Stern is diverse and inter-disciplinary, and has long been recognized for its research and scholarship. It consistently ranks among the top schools in terms of research productivity in leading journals.
