    Teaching Assistant Professor in the Department of Management

     

    The Department of Management in the College of Business and Economics at West Virginia University invites applications for a Term Appointment Professor (non-tenure track) at the Teaching Assistant Professor level starting in August 2016. Salary and benefits are competitive in relation to other business schools that are accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Salary and benefits are appropriate for experience and qualifications. 

     

    The primary areas of responsibility in this position are teaching (80%) and service/administration (20%).  The teaching load will be eight courses per academic year across undergraduate and graduate courses (face-to-face, online, and hybrid) taught by the faculty in the Department of Management. Special consideration will be given to those candidates who have significant teaching experience in more than one content area of management such as organizational behavior/leadership, human resource management, strategy, international business, decision analysis, entrepreneurship, and hospitality and tourism management.

    Qualifications: We are seeking candidates who have already earned a minimum of Master of Business Administration (MBA) or a master's degree in management or a closely related field. Significant teaching experience is required, and industrial experience is preferred.
