    Dear Colleagues,

      We believe that this survey on Academic Virtual Teams (AVTs) will be of interest to members. There has been a proliferation of virtual teams in organizations around the world recently and the same is true of academia. We are interested in the best practices of AVTs and identifying factors that contribute to the success or failure of AVTs, as well as the similarities and differences between AVTs and other virtual teams.
