Dear colleagues and friends - we invite you, your friends, spouses, and colleagues to participate in the 14th Annual MSR Retreat which will take place Tuesday evening through Friday noon, August 9-12, 2016 (following the AOM in Anaheim, California). Past participants say the MSR Retreat is an invaluable opportunity to: - decompress from the intense experience of AOM with other scholars;
- deepen connections with members of the Academy in a creative, relaxed and authentic environment;
- reflect forward on goals for teaching and research in the coming academic year.
The 2016 MSR Retreat will be held at the Serra Retreat Center, a Franciscan retreat and conference center and a beautiful setting for peace, serenity and reflection set between the mountains and the ocean in Malibu, California. For more information and/or to register, please download the MSR Retreat Brochure and Registration forms. Because of the limited space, people will be registered for the Retreat on a "first come, first served" basis upon receipt of registration form and payment.
Because accommodations require reservations and payment, we ask that you consider soon if this spirit-filled, rest and practice opportunity is something you would like to share. Full cost for 3 nights lodging, space for retreat activities and dining and 3 meals a day, will run $350 US / person (based on double occupancy accommodation) and $450 US per person (based on single occupancy).
We hope you will consider this opportunity to be with a like-minded group in a surrounding of natural beauty to share a spirit filled three days in support of our important work in management education and research.
Sincerely,
2015 MSR Retreat Organizing Committee
