New item design for negotiation studies

  • 1.  New item design for negotiation studies

    Dear All,

I added photos to scenarios items to make respondents to my survey feel that they are reacting to a true negotiator and getting the feelings they would have in a negotiation process in front of a happy or sad person. Face expressions in photos produced the same effects for participants as that of true face expression of a true person as validated from face-expression research. Students who responded to the survey said that they felt the photos represented real people.

I know that method was not used in negotiation research before, I need your evaluation as experts of negotiation research and I would appreciate it if you help be by looking at the survey at the following link:  http://www.hostedsurvey.com/takesurvey.asp?c=MEG1

I'm conducting this online survey as part of my dissertation and to collect data for future studies.
I do not have a negotiation expert on my committee and I need your help.
Please let me know your evaluation of my design.

    My kindest regards best wishes.
